Gasly invests in MotoGP team Tech3 as Steiner-led era begins

The Alpine F1 driver has quietly joined an investor group that has taken a stake in MotoGP KTM outfit Tech3. The 2020 Italian Grand Prix winner is backing a two-wheeled project with equally ambitious aspirations. Tech3 confirmed the Frenchman as part of its new ownership consortium, describing him as the first active F1 driver to invest in a MotoGP team. Gasly’s connection to the MotoGP paddock isn’t new. He first sampled that world during a visit to the Thai Grand Prix in 2019 and has since built a friendship...
