Construction work underway at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya

Article To news overview © Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is currently undergoing some construction work ahead of the new motorsport season and the return of Formula 1 testing. The circuit heads into its 31st year as a Grand Prix venue in 2022, and has held the Spanish Grand Prix every year since 1991. But, for 2022, some circuit works are being carried out as the venue starts going through a series of updates and upgrades. In a tweet shared out by circuit officials, construction work is underway to build new sections in the paddock, with pictures showing the existing paddock is being dug up.
