Mercedes announce date for launch of 2022 car
Article To news overview Mercedes will reveal their new F1 car on 18 February, the team have announced. The team confirmed the unveiling of the W13, their first car built to Formula 1's new regulations, via a post on their social media channels on Tuesday morning. Mercedes become the latest team to set their 2022 launch date as a result, following recent announcements from Ferrari, McLaren and Aston Martin. Mercedes intend on carrying out a shakedown ahead of pre-season testing. The W13 will be put through a shakedown programme on 18 February to complete initial system checks on the Silverstone circuit.
