Williams keeps full confidence in Latifi despite rumors
Nicholas Latifi does not seem to have to worry about his place at Williams for the time being. Jost Capito indicates that there is work to be done, but also gives the Canadian time to regain his confidence. Latifi is under pressure in early 2022. His performance at Williams had been underwhelming for the past two years, but at the time it was mostly pointed to the exceptional talent of George Russell. However, now that Alexander Albon has entered the team and is also driving Latifi around the ears, there are sounds that Williams would like to replace the Canadian.
