Video: A first look at the upcoming Villeneuve and Pironi documentary
Video To news overview © Alessio Mazzocco (CC) Fans have been offered a first look at what to expect when the upcoming documentary about Gilles Villeneuve and Didier Pironi is released later this year. This weekend's Miami Grand Prix takes place on 8 May, 40 years to the day since Villeneuve lost his life driving for Ferrari at Zolder in Belgium. The French-Canadian, father of 1996 F1 World Champion Jacques, had been embroiled in a bitter, albeit short-lived, feud with his teammate Pironi, after the French driver took victory at the 1982 San Marino Grand Prix.
