More options for McLaren: 'Vettel and Albon are mentioned'
There is much speculation in the paddock about the future of Daniel Ricciardo. McLaren is already testing with Colton Herta from the IndyCar Series, but Oscar Piastri would also have a chance at the seat. BBC F1 journalist Andrew Benson says Alexander Albon and Sebastian Vettel could be added to the options. 0 In 2021 Ricciardo swapped Renault for McLaren. Apart from one victory at Monza in the same year, the Australian's results are disappointing at McLaren. Reportedly, there is a clause in Ricciardo's contract which allows him to terminate the contract early. The British team is therefore already looking around for a replacement, if Ricciardo leaves McLaren after 2022. Read more...
