Krack ‘confident' of keeping Vettel after ‘constructive' talks
Aston Martin team principal Mike Krack has confirmed he and Sebastian Vettel are in talks over a new contract, which has made him feel 'confident' the four-time former World Champion could continue with them next season. Krack has made no secret of his desire to keep Vettel on a long-term basis, with the driver's plans beyond his current contract, which is due to expire at the end of the year, uncertain as he weighs up his future in the sport. Vettel has also said previously his main motivation for staying in Formula 1 is to compete for race victories again after his departure from Ferrari, but Aston Martin are currently languishing towards the back of the field – ranking ninth out...
