FIA confirms Red Bull breached F1 2021 cost cap
The FIA has confirmed that the Red Bull Formula 1 team breached the 2021 budget cap, which was set at $145 million. Aston Martin also overspent the budget quota, however their fault is deemed to be “procedural”. Red Bull, meanwhile falls into the category of a procedural and minor overspend breach.
