Mercedes 1-2 at a soaking wet Silverstone, Verstappen spinning to P5
Max Verstappen clocked the fifth fastest time during the third free practice session at Silverstone. The Dutchman did not complete many laps, but managed to entertain the crowd with a spectacular spin on exiting the Copse corner. The Mercedes was a step ahead of Verstappen. George Russell grabbed the fastest time with teammate Lewis Hamilton in his wake.
