Norris: Miami qualifying reflects where McLaren ‘deserve to be’

Lando Norris believes McLaren’s drop in performance during Miami Grand Prix qualifying paints a more accurate picture of the team’s competitive standing, despite a dominant showing in the Sprint event earlier in the day. The British driver had appeared to put McLaren in a commanding position after securing Sprint pole and converting it into victory, with teammate Oscar Piastri completing a one-two finish for the team.
