Verstappen moves ahead in final Bahrain GP practice

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen moved to the top of the timesheets during the daylight final practice session for Formula 1’s Bahrain Grand Prix. Verstappen clocked a time of 1:28.355s to finish 0.263s clear of World Champion Lewis Hamilton, who had led the way through both of Friday’s sessions. Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas finished third while Red Bull’s Alexander Albon recovered from his sizeable Friday crash to classify fourth. Albon used a new chassis, following changes overnight, owing to the damage sustained in his FP2 accident.
