Report: F1 to move pre-season testing to Bahrain
According to Motorsport.com, Formula 1 is set to move pre-season testing to the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir. The reports come amid speculation that the Australian Grand Prix could be postponed due to new COVID-19 restrictions within the state of Victoria, although it was reported today that conversations remain 'live and active'. If the Melbourne race was to be postponed, the Bahrain Grand Prix scheduled for March 28 would become the season opener and the teams have reportedly agreed that in that eventuality, testing should move from the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya in Spain to Bahrain.
