Leclerc and Alonso unfairly compared: 'He's still making too many mistakes'

Former Ferrari sporting director Cesare Fiorio thinks Carlos Sainz is already on the level of Charles Leclerc. The Italian believes Ferrari have started the new season strongly and speaks highly of Sainz's class. Sainz as good as Leclerc Sainz is in his first year at Ferrari. The Spaniard came over from McLaren last winter after two successful years with the British team. In those years he managed to score his first two podiums. In 2021 he replaced Sebastian Vettel at Ferrari.
