Zanardi's wife provides update on ex-F1 driver

The former F1 driver was participating in the Obiettivo Tricolore handbike event last year, but was involved in a collision with a truck. Zanardi's wife, Daniela, provided an update on her husband's condition, stating his condition his stable. “One year after the accident, Alex’s condition is essentially stable,” Daniela said in an interview with BMW, for whom Alex is an ambassador. “He is currently in a special clinic, where he is undergoing a rehabilitation programme.
