Belgian GP to get underway after three-hour delay

Article To news overview After a three-hour delay due to heavy rain around the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, the Belgian Grand Prix is set to get underway. The race will begin at 18:17 local time, although rain still continues to hit the region. This means that the race will start under Safety Car conditions, with no guarantee of racing laps. The race will be a maximum of 60 minutes long, due to a three-hour time limit, of which two hours have already elapsed prior to race officials invoking a clause in the International Sporting Code in order to stop the timer.
